(This letter was written for WWE Magazine about John Morrison)
Dear WWE Magazine,
Dear WWE Magazine,
First and foremost, I want to thank everyone who contributes to the magazine for the hardwork and passion that can be seen from cover to cover on every issue through the span of many years. It is clear to me that everyone who has a hand in producing the magazine is still a fan at heart and it shows. Now that I have addressed my sincerest gratitude I am now going to tell you my true purpose for writing this letter.
You see I have been a wrestling fan for nearly a decade and wrestling has always been a huge part of my life. I was born with Cerebral Palsy and until my Grandmother stepped in and adopted my sister and I I had a very difficult childhood with parents whom still to this day, have not conquered the demons that plagued them. Wrestling was a shining light through those years and it is ultimately my one true love. Where John Morrison really comes into the picture is when my favorite wrestler died a few years back. I admired him very much and it was like I lost a hero and a friend. When John stepped in he made that pain go away. I was always a fan of his way back when he was Johnny Nitro and a part of MNM but when he became John Morrison that is when everything truly clicked. He would not only match the admiration I felt and loved for my fallen wrestler he would surpass it.
I remember having my breath taken away by Morrison's performance in the Smackdown Elimination Chamber back in 2010 and he would do the same thing again a year later in the Raw Chamber. I remember crying my eyes out when he beat Sheamus in a ladder match at TLC 2010 to get a WWE Title shot against the Miz. When he would have that match under Falls Count Anywhere rules not only was it the first contest of 2011 but definitely one of the best. I idolize John Morrison so much that I actually tried mastering his trademark pose and wearing sunglasses in the hallways of my high school. I still dream of the day when John Morrison finally wins the big one. The title that has eluded the likes of Piper, Steamboat and Snuka, The WWE Championship.
WWE even if this letter is not printed in your magazine I sincerely hope that John sees this. Not only is he one of the most talented young guns on the roster, not only is he the Guru of Greatness and The Shaman Of Sexy, he is my hero, my idol, and every time he steps through those ropes he gives me something to aspire to be. Thank you so much John for everything. Me and all of your Jomosapiens love you with all of our heart.
Sincerely,
John Altmann
